Three terms, one page: what FOB, CIF and a delivered-duty-paid shipment each include, who pays what, and why the import clearance is best handled on the importer's side. Our published term is FOB Qingdao.
Incoterms describe where the seller's cost and risk stop. The three that come up in every cabinet enquiry:

Dealing with the forwarder and the customs broker is ordinary work; the trap is the difference between the risk a buyer and a supplier can each carry. Under any delivered arrangement the seller is guessing at local charges that only the destination market really knows — and a guess is paid for by the buyer, one way or another.

Ask the forwarder at your end for a door-to-door rate, and we will hand the goods to them at Qingdao. You then have one landed cost, quoted by someone who knows what clearance, GST and delivery actually cost where you are — instead of a foreign supplier's estimate.

You approve at every gate. Nothing is cut before the drawing is signed off, and the render and the technical drawing cost you nothing.
Send a sketch, a measured layout or a reference photo. Sizes, drawer counts, colour, locks and casters.
We build a virtual scene image of the cabinet before anything is made, so you can see the proportions.
The layout is locked and issued as a formal DXF / PDF drawing with dimensions, steel gauge and bill of materials.
One sample unit is built and photographed, or shipped, for your final approval.
Punch, bend, weld, powder-coat and assemble on the line, with photo updates at the key stages.
Pre-shipment inspection against the confirmed drawing, then export packing and container loading.
Units built on the Qingdao line — not stock photography. Bring your own drawing or a reference photo and it will be built to that.

Our factory holds IATF 16949:2016 — the automotive quality system — and produces stamped and welded metal parts with electrophoretic and spray coating for a German premium car maker. The same plant, the same stamping, welding and coating processes go into your cabinets. The certificate is in cycle 3 and runs to July 2029.
That would put us in the position of importer of record in your country, with the duty and GST liability in our name. We quote FOB Qingdao as standard, and price other terms per project.
Because we would be estimating charges that belong to your market — and an estimate that is too low is not a favour, it is an invoice waiting to happen. A forwarder at your end quotes those numbers from daily experience, and we deliver into their hands at Qingdao.
CIF adds the ocean freight and cargo insurance to your port; FOB stops at Qingdao. For a single system the ocean leg is only part of the landed cost — destination handling and clearance are usually the larger unknowable.
Both. One system is typically 8–9 m³ crated, comfortably LCL; two or three systems together start to favour a 20 ft container.
3D render and technical drawing: 2 working days each (free). Sample: 7-10 days. Mass production: about 30 days. Total from inquiry to container shipment: 30-45 days.
Send a drawing, a rough sketch or a photo of what you need. Tell us the destination port and the quantity you have in mind — you get a firm number, a lead time and photos of comparable builds.
